Thank you for maintaining the lighted cross, I remember it all my life and have always wondered about it. The Cross means much more to me now and every passing day. Today, it gave me comfort, my Mom died a little over a year ago, I know she is with The Lord.
I buried my cousin, Cynthia, at Mount Lindo. Cyn loved the mountains and I knew she would love this peaceful and very beautiful cemetery. My husband and I plan on having our ashes spread at Mount Lindo when the time comes.
I enjoy seeing unique cemeteries so when I stumbled across this on the web looking for places to go while I was spending a long weekend in Denver I just had to come and check it out. The ride up to this cemetery is very interesting it's a dirt road with lots of hair pin turns. At the top I was surprised at how great the view was. It was definitely worth the trip up to see. I wouldn't mind spending my eternity here it was peaceful and scenic. For anyone who likes unique cemeteries or great views and are in the area this is a great place to visit.
My mother is here. She created a perfect excuse to get me off the plains and back into the mountains in Morrison. A place she tried to keep me away from when I was a young teen.
My great grandpa, great grandma, grandpa, aunt, and we spread my grandma there yesterday. It is such a beautiful place and I'm happy a bunch of my family is there. The people keep it up beautifully. I wish the road was paved and wider because we were riding motorcycles up and it was very hard to get them up there
